row, row, row your boat
Nothing says rich like a big lunch on a business account. I was taken to Canoe on the 54th floor of the TD Tower. Apparently lots of people have business accounts since the place was packed. We had a great table right by the window. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day.My meal consisted of:
- Drink special
Mango, banana and orange juice in champagne flute with blueberries and raspberries
- Pan-Seared La Ferme Foie Gras (22)
Sunflower Root, Pumpkin Muffin and Walnut Pickle
- Broiled BC Sablefish (22)
Sunchokes, Cookstown Spring Roots, Bacon Dressing and Newfoundland Screech
-Fireweed Honey Butter Tart (11)
Saskatoon Berries, Miller St. Porter and Walnut Icecream
- Orange Pekoe-Ceylon Rathnapura
A Rare Tea from the Dimbula District of Sri Lanka
Needless to say, I didn't have dinner that night.
